ABOUT US

We started out as landscape photographers who loved traveling together and experiencing new places. Being outdoors, hiking, new dining experiences, new places and the people we met along the way are all part of what we loved when getting out. Our field experiences have taught us a lot about flexibility, timing and making the best of what comes. That’s Life in a nutshell, I suppose. With all of the tumult in the world, it’s good to step back and see it all in a perspective - without the spoon-fed news we get from social media. As a couple, we challenge each other’s thinking on what we see and hear. It’s good to face a different perspective and get a sense of what’s behind it.

One example is from when we were first together, Christine was telling me about recylcing this and that. I just thought that it sounded good but, what difference could one person make? She got me to see the incredible impact one person’s actions could have as part of a group of people doing the same thing all over the country. For instance, if only 10% of us in America stopped getting one-use straws at drive-throughs and restaurants, we would eliminate over 6,600,000,000 billion one-use straws a year from going into our landfills. Do you know what causes climate change, it’s Pollution and its byproducts. (Each straw takes 100 years to break down too - they will be here long after we’re gone!)

I live on YouTube tutorials and Christine lives in books. We each devour our preferred mediums a lot like a teenager to TikTok. But, in a healthier way I think as we look for things that expand our horizons and that we learn something new from.

As we started out in real estate photography, we were overwhelmed a bit at first, but quickly learned by doing and listening as we shot more and more homes. It has been a journey where we each shoot and do post-production on homes that range from entry-level to grandiose. Christine’s sense of light, texture and space is a gift, which is something she brings in from her landscape work. I marvel at her artistic vision and how she can frame up a shot to make a room almost speak to you. It’s one thing to take a picture, another to create art.

Real estate is one of the most interesting fields around and keeping the ball rolling forward is pretty much what it’s all about.
